Jyothi Engineering College collaborated with National Transportation Planning and Research
Centre (NATPAC ) established under Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and
Environment for Traffic Volume Surveys for the Project Road Asset Management for
National Highways and State Highways in Kerala.
It is required to carry out traffic volume count studies at various road sections in Thrissur
district as part of this project
Survey Type: Traffic Volume Count
Location : Thrissur At 6 mid-block locations
Surveying: Data collection using manual count and video graphic method.
Extraction of data by counting of vehicles classified by the type of vehicle during the
specified duration.
