The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Jyothi Engineering College proudly celebrates its students for clinching top honors at the Yukthi 2026 Departmental Project Excellence Awards. The First Prize was awarded to Abhishek Aji, Akash Sunil, Chris Davis, and Joyal Anto under the guidance of Mr. Ashik M. S. for their groundbreaking project “Autonomous Localization-Based Towing and Assistance Robot for Wheelchair.” The Second Prize went to Melvin Majo, Vyshak A. V., Afna Shamsudheen, and Maria Grace, mentored by Ms. Athira P. Preman, for their innovative “Semi-Automatic Electrostatic Sprayer Rover for Agriculture.” Meanwhile, the Third Prize was secured by Shuhaib S., Giridhar O., and Abhishikth Gopakumar, guided by Mr. Sibin Jhony, for their creative “Parallel Hybrid AWD Scooter with Range Extender Capabilities.” These achievements highlight the department’s commitment to fostering innovation, teamwork, and real-world engineering solutions.
