The NBA-accredited Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Jyothi Engineering College hosted an enriching workshop on “Image Processing Fundamentals in Visual Computing Using MATLAB” on 18 February 2026 at the MR CAD & Embedded AI Lab. The full-day session, led by Dr. Neethu M and Mr. Jineesh, provided students with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge techniques in image analysis and computational visualization. Organized in collaboration with M.E.S.A. and The Institution of Engineers (India), the program empowered participants with practical skills and deeper insights into the role of image processing in modern engineering applications, reinforcing the department’s commitment to innovation-driven learning.
